McDermott’s Coaches are a shining example of the way Tasmania’s tourism industry should operate. They understand their product, their industry and their customers and consistently deliver the highest level of service.
Your drivers, were absolutely phenomenal again. They were always more than accommodating and helped us out when the situation meant we had to be flexible and change our plans. We would love to have the same drivers again!
When it comes to professionalism,... When it comes to professionalism, guest care and quality of vehicles, it would be hard to beat McDermott's anywhere in Australia. They were the official ground transporter for the 2018 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, bringing guests from multiple locations to the site of the event on time and in comfort. For any conference organiser managing an event in Tasmania or abroad, make sure you consider McDermott's. Superb.
I just wanted to send an email to compliment your company for a wonderfultour and a great driver. He was an excellent driver his knowledge of Tasmaniaand every place we went to was outstanding. The way he treated the more elderly was lovely. He mixed well with everyone and his driving on the more difficult roads was exceptional. I would without a doubt recommend your company.
We spend 2 days following a trail of the convicts. Starting with a visit to the Cascades Female Factory and their live interactive performance of Her Story. We enjoy lunch on our way to the Tasman Peninsula and then spend the afternoon exploring the Coal Mines Historic Site – which served as punishment for the worst of the convicts. The ruins of many of these structures still standing on this site. We spend a night at a nearby hotel on the Tasman Peninsula. The following morning, we take a tour of the Port Arthur Historic site and enjoy a Harbour Cruise. On the way home we will enjoy a tour of Ross, to learn about its history of convicts and the history of the area. After a jam packed 2 days of touring, we return you to Launceston where you are filled with a greater understanding of the lifestyle the convicts endured when they first came to Tasmania.
