"The Qantas Australian Tourism Awards is a once in a lifetime chance to showcase the very best of a region. Showing a warm welcome together with the professional and punctual movement of over 800 guests for dinner was a critical start and end to the event. McDermotts were just a pleasure to deal with and the quality and condition of their coaches is superb. They assisted with clarity on the timelines to pick up from several hotels and deliver all guests promptly. As the event director, I appreciated not only the fact they were experienced and simply took care of the planning of the pickups, but that their drivers delivered to the very highest standard that was remarked upon by guests. I would never hesitate to recommend them "

McDermott's Travel Club have joined with Destination Management Cook Islands, a locally owned and operated Cook Island travel department, to bring you the very best that 5 nights in the Cook Islands can offer. Landing in Rarotonga the main international gateway we are immediately immersed in the islands culture by hitting the local lagoons for viewing through the glass bottom boats, this is typical way of life for Cook Islanders, as their lifestyle and culture hinges on sea life. We explore further into the way of life and culture on day 2 with island touring and in the night we have some locally cooked fare, something that the locals enjoy doing is sharing their love of food with visitors. We take off for a scenic flight to Aitutaki, one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world and stay here for the day just being in awe of that blue colour. Days 4 and 5 is more touring to local places of special significance and culture.
