I just wanted to send an email to compliment your company for a wonderfultour and a great driver. He was an excellent driver his knowledge of Tasmaniaand every place we went to was outstanding. The way he treated the more elderly was lovely. He mixed well with everyone and his driving on the more difficult roads was exceptional. I would without a doubt recommend your company.
When it comes to professionalism,... When it comes to professionalism, guest care and quality of vehicles, it would be hard to beat McDermott's anywhere in Australia. They were the official ground transporter for the 2018 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, bringing guests from multiple locations to the site of the event on time and in comfort. For any conference organiser managing an event in Tasmania or abroad, make sure you consider McDermott's. Superb.
McDermott’s Coaches are a shining example of the way Tasmania’s tourism industry should operate. They understand their product, their industry and their customers and consistently deliver the highest level of service.
Your drivers, were absolutely phenomenal again. They were always more than accommodating and helped us out when the situation meant we had to be flexible and change our plans. We would love to have the same drivers again!
Join McDermotts Travel Club on this exciting tour that gives us a variety of gardens, including the State Rose Gardens, a day at the Melbourne Flower Show and time spent at the spectacular Albury Botanical Gardens. Not to mention all other attractions beyond the gardens- we embark on a Werribee Zoo Safari, journey on Puffing Billy Steam Train and explore the Yarra Valley. Then making our way towards Canberra via the Snowy Mountains. Travelling along the Snowy Mountain Highway, we will learn about the area - its hydro power and history in various museums. Overnighting in the scenic Jindabyne, we arrive in Canberra to explore the highlights; from scenic views of Mount Ainslie Lookout, a driving city tour including Parliament House and visiting the Australian War Memorial for the Last Post. This tour is not to be missed.
An exciting way to get to see a part of Northern Australia’s Top End. You, your friends and a group of like-minded explorers who wish to get out and about in a very special region. Take in the sights and history of Darwin then to Kakadu for a cultural immersion, heading south to Jawoyn country and Nitmiluk National Park for a gorgeous cruise on the Katherine river. Leaving the NT we cross the WA border to the famous Kimberley region of the Top End to Lake Argyle and Kununurra the gateway of the area. We get to explore these great places with a sunset cruise and if time allows an option for you to fly over the huge Lake Argyle Diamond mine. At Fitzroy Crossing on our way to Broome we cruise on the croc infested Fitzroy River with some local rangers. Arriving in Broome, the pearl of the north, we explore this out post and all it has to offer and finish the day taking in the sunset on Cable beach
A great opportunity to spend some quality time exploring the highlights of Huon Valley and Bruny Island. There is much to see and do, 3 days will not do it the justice it deserves, but it will give us an opportunity to get a good taste of the region. The Huon Valley has much to offer – just 30 minutes from Hobart it is a world away. We pop into visit the Wooden Boat Centre, explore a local cidery, visit the retail site of Margate Train and tour Tasmania’s largest landscaped native garden – at Inverawe gardens. A day will be dedicated to Bruny Island – we take a tour of the island with a local step on guide and explore the highlights as well as some of the lesser known spots also. The last day of the tour will see us make the most of our time in the south of the state and pop in to visit other exciting nearby attractions. This tour was requested! We expect it to book out quickly.
