INCLUSIONS and HIGHLIGHTS
I just wanted to send an email to compliment your company for a wonderfultour and a great driver. He was an excellent driver his knowledge of Tasmaniaand every place we went to was outstanding. The way he treated the more elderly was lovely. He mixed well with everyone and his driving on the more difficult roads was exceptional. I would without a doubt recommend your company.
Your drivers, were absolutely phenomenal again. They were always more than accommodating and helped us out when the situation meant we had to be flexible and change our plans. We would love to have the same drivers again!
When it comes to professionalism,... When it comes to professionalism, guest care and quality of vehicles, it would be hard to beat McDermott's anywhere in Australia. They were the official ground transporter for the 2018 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, bringing guests from multiple locations to the site of the event on time and in comfort. For any conference organiser managing an event in Tasmania or abroad, make sure you consider McDermott's. Superb.
"The Qantas Australian Tourism Awards is a once in a lifetime chance to showcase the very best of a region. Showing a warm welcome together with the professional and punctual movement of over 800 guests for dinner was a critical start and end to the event. McDermotts were just a pleasure to deal with and the quality and condition of their coaches is superb. They assisted with clarity on the timelines to pick up from several hotels and deliver all guests promptly. As the event director, I appreciated not only the fact they were experienced and simply took care of the planning of the pickups, but that their drivers delivered to the very highest standard that was remarked upon by guests. I would never hesitate to recommend them "
This truly outback spectacular takes us from Adelaide overland to Uluru via Alice Springs. We have plenty of time to explore all there is in this unique and remote part of mainland Australia. We kick off with a city tour of Adelaide before heading off to visit the rugged botanical gardens at Port Augusta and then staying underground at the mining town of Cobber Pedy where the temperature stays a constant 24 degrees all year round. We arrive in Alice Springs taking in the RFDS, Desert park the West Macs and some local aboriginal culture. We head off the beaten track from Alice to Watarrka (Kings Canyon) and spend a night at the resort and some short walks of the gorge. Our last experience is at Uluru and Kata Tjuta where we do some short walks, take in the views from Sunset strip and also do the ‘field of lights’ dinner special. A trip that is memorable will stay with you forever….
A great opportunity to spend some quality time exploring the highlights of Huon Valley and Bruny Island. There is much to see and do, 3 days will not do it the justice it deserves, but it will give us an opportunity to get a good taste of the region. The Huon Valley has much to offer – just 30 minutes from Hobart it is a world away. We pop into visit the Wooden Boat Centre, explore a local cidery, visit the retail site of Margate Train and tour Tasmania’s largest landscaped native garden – at Inverawe gardens. A day will be dedicated to Bruny Island – we take a tour of the island with a local step on guide and explore the highlights as well as some of the lesser known spots also. The last day of the tour will see us make the most of our time in the south of the state and pop in to visit other exciting nearby attractions. This tour was requested! We expect it to book out quickly.
