McDermott’s Coaches are a shining example of the way Tasmania’s tourism industry should operate. They understand their product, their industry and their customers and consistently deliver the highest level of service.
When it comes to professionalism,... When it comes to professionalism, guest care and quality of vehicles, it would be hard to beat McDermott's anywhere in Australia. They were the official ground transporter for the 2018 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, bringing guests from multiple locations to the site of the event on time and in comfort. For any conference organiser managing an event in Tasmania or abroad, make sure you consider McDermott's. Superb.
"The Qantas Australian Tourism Awards is a once in a lifetime chance to showcase the very best of a region. Showing a warm welcome together with the professional and punctual movement of over 800 guests for dinner was a critical start and end to the event. McDermotts were just a pleasure to deal with and the quality and condition of their coaches is superb. They assisted with clarity on the timelines to pick up from several hotels and deliver all guests promptly. As the event director, I appreciated not only the fact they were experienced and simply took care of the planning of the pickups, but that their drivers delivered to the very highest standard that was remarked upon by guests. I would never hesitate to recommend them "
I just wanted to send an email to compliment your company for a wonderfultour and a great driver. He was an excellent driver his knowledge of Tasmaniaand every place we went to was outstanding. The way he treated the more elderly was lovely. He mixed well with everyone and his driving on the more difficult roads was exceptional. I would without a doubt recommend your company.
Join us at Cradle Mt as our experienced guides share their passion for the region and appreciate the uniqueness of the flora, fauna and geological features of this World Heritage listed National Park.
An exciting way to get to see a part of Northern Australia’s Top End. You, your friends and a group of like-minded explorers who wish to get out and about in a very special region. Take in the sights and history of Darwin then to Kakadu for a cultural immersion, heading south to Jawoyn country and Nitmiluk National Park for a gorgeous cruise on the Katherine river. Leaving the NT we cross the WA border to the famous Kimberley region of the Top End to Lake Argyle and Kununurra the gateway of the area. We get to explore these great places with a sunset cruise and if time allows an option for you to fly over the huge Lake Argyle Diamond mine. At Fitzroy Crossing on our way to Broome we cruise on the croc infested Fitzroy River with some local rangers. Arriving in Broome, the pearl of the north, we explore this out post and all it has to offer and finish the day taking in the sunset on Cable beach
As the wet season comes to an end in Far North Queensland it is seen as the best time to head there and explore the region. Our tour starts with a day in Cairns and exploring the Kuranda plateau. We will spend a full day out on the Great Barrier Reef with a marine biologist, view the reef from a glass bottom boat, tour in a semi-submersible boat and if you’re up for it, snorkel among the reef sharks and fish. Leaving the reef, we journey further north to Port Douglas for some time to relax on the beach but to also go tropical into Mossman gorge. From Port Douglas we head up and across the Atherton Tableland onto the Undara Lava tubes, the largest and longest lava tubes know on earth, we spend 2 nights here. Leaving Undara we stay at Yungaburra and explore the giant curtain figs, Crater Lakes National Park and enjoy some tea and scones at one of the tea plantations. This is an itinerary full of attractions to see and do and should not be missed
