McDermotts Coaches pride them self in providing quality service and vehicles across all aspects of our business and our School Bus and School Charter services are no exception. From humble begins in 1987 in an early model Bedford bus McDermott’s have continued to invest and upgrade in its school fleet, with an emphasis on safety and quality.
McDermotts School fleet consist of 3 dedicated vehicles ranging from 53 – 57 seat, These can be supplemented by our premium touring fleet if number are greater than the 167 capacity of the dedicated school fleet or if you require something smaller we can cater for groups with our range of premium 24 seat vehicles.
All vehicles are equipped with 3 point lap sash seat belts, premium seating and air conditioning, All large vehicles are built with a luggage compartments under the coach for transporting sports and other equipment to events or luggage for extended trips such as school camps, this reducing the need for an extra vehicle. Trailers can be provided for the smaller 24 seat option.
Our Drivers are friendly, helpful, well presented, they take pride in the vehicles and keep them clean and tidy throughout the day.
McDermotts specialise in transporting large school groups to places such as Ben Lomond and Cradle Mountain where knowledge of the roads and area are key for the safety of the students. McDermott also pride our self on travel logistics and can help coordinate large movements to multiple locations making the day hassle free.
