This sustainable mode of transport is a first to be introduced in any National Park in Australia. The hybrid buses travel predominately in silent mode and all buses have been fitted with large windows to ensure maximum viewing on the journey into one of Tasmania’s most iconic National Parks.
The Shuttle Bus Service was introduced to protect the important values of the World Heritage Area by limiting vehicle numbers in the park.
