Famous for its beautiful beaches, top ranked golf courses, quality food exports and some fascinating history, we spend 4 days on King Island with an expert local guide. He will share his local knowledge, expertise and portray the amazing shipwreck stories of the Island as well as showcasing the best produce the Island has to offer.
Our first night will be spent in Wynyard before we take the morning flight to King Island. Highlights include visiting the King Island Dairy with a cheese tasting, learn about the local kelp harvesting, and tour a local beef farm with a special ‘paddock to plate’ lunch. We sightsee the different coastal areas including Cape Wickham, Quarantine Bay and Surprise Bay. Learn the history of King Island – Dolphin Mine, original soldier settlement and history of the Bowling family.
