Our walk will begin with a safety debriefing at the foot of the Lake. The track is 6km in length, which is walked in a clockwise direction.
We set out from Dove Lake directly beneath Cradle Mountain. This premier walk will offer you some spectacular views of the famous mountain!
The walk will take approximately 4hrs including a lunch stop along the way. The track travels around Dove Lake, passing beneath the mountain, then returns through stunning rainforest to the tour starting point. You will have the opportunity to venture through some of Tasmania's special vegetation found in this area.
A picnic style lunch is provided as part of the tour. This will be issued to you prior to the walk, please ensure you have a suitable bag to take this with you. Ensure you read through the walk safety guidelines and requirements prior to booking this tour.
IMPORTANT: this track is noted at a Grade 3 for hiking; some bushwalking experience is recommended. Tracks during the walk may have short steep hill sections, a rough surface and many steps. Please ensure you have an adequate fitness level to complete the walk for your own safety.
